Santa Cruz Shooting Leaves 2 Police Officers Dead

Two Santa Cruz police officers were killed when they tried to question a suspect, on Tuesday afternoon.

Sergeant Loran Baker and Detective Elizabeth Butler were shot and killed by Jeremy Goulet, as they stood outside his home.

They were able to call for back up when the shooting began.

Goulet then stole both of their weapons and one of their vehicles.

A man hunt began, lasting about a half hour before he was located.

Other officers were forced to shoot Goulet when he opened fire on them, as well.

The shooter died from his wounds, on the scene.

Police are limiting the release of information, while the investigation is ongoing.

Missing From Michigan: Alejandra Rubi, 14

Fourteen year old Alejandra Rubi is missing from Three Rivers, Michigan.

She was last seen on February 21 at school, and last heard from on February 22.

Alejandra is described as five foot five, one hundred and fifty-five pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a grey sweater, white scarf, blue jeans, and brown UGG boots.

She was located safe in Wyoming, Michigan, on Saturday.

Suicide Bomber Kills 10 in Kabul

Ten people were killed and another ten injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up under a bus, in Kabul.

Wednesday's attack was aimed at a bus full of Afghan soldiers.

A man, dressed as a mechanic, slid under the bus as it was loading, and blew himself up.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

It is but one more show of how the situation is ongoing.

Taliban Drugs Then Shoots Police in Afghanistan

Seventeen people were druggedd and then shot and killed in the Ghazni province of Afghanistan, on Tuesday night.

Ten were members of the Afghan Local Police, while seven were civilians, working with them.

A Taliban spokesman was quick to claim the attack.

It is unclear what kind of drugs the Taliban used.

This is a new form of attack, that hadn't been seen before.

Officials are worried that the Taliban will try similar tactics again.

Vader Denied Entrance to Ukrainian Justice Ministry

Darth Vader and a squad of his storm troopers were denied entrance to the Ukrainian Justice Ministry, in Kyiv.

Security, backed by military troops refused to let them enter, on Tuesday, nor would they explain why they couldn't enter.

When the police showed up they were just as unhelpful, and demanded that the group leave the area.

They were tying to enter to gain an appointment with Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych.

Their goal was to demand that the government stop harassing the Internet Party of Ukraine.

The party pushes for technological improvements in order to remove the need for bureaucracy.

Missing From Texas: Destinee Neal, 15

Fifteen year old Destinee Neal is missing from Porter, Texas.

She was last seen at school, on February 21, but never returned home.

Destinee is described as five foot four, one hundred and ten pounds, with brown hair, and green/blue eyes.

She was reported safe, on March 1.

Missing From California: Ryan Menjivar, 18

Eighteen year old Ryan Menjivar is missing from Martinez, Caifornia.

He was last seen Monday night.

Police consider him at risk, but have not released why.

Ryan is described as six foot, one hundred and sixty-five pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a black Tshirt, a light green hooded sweatshirt, and dark jeans.
