Denver Day of Resistance

Across the US, in at least one hundred and twenty cities rallies took place, on Saturday.

They were part of the Day of Resistance, which was organized to show support for the Second Amendment.

For Coloradans, the rally comes at a time when their state government is trying to change their gun rights.

Four to five hundred people showed up for Denver's rally.

Those gathered sent a clear message of their displeasure with the proposed laws.

Speakers pointed out the importance of the Second Amendment, what it was meant to cover, and what the passage of the bills will mean for Colorado.

Among the speakers were Mike Holler, Evan Todd, District 23 Senator Vicky Marble, Rod Brandenburg, District 63 Representative Lori Slaine, Matt Arnold, Zachary Ramsli, and Jonathan D. Sangster.

Missing From California: Adriana Gonzales, 15: Located Safe

Fifteen year old Adriana Gonzales is missing from Olivehurst, California.

She was last seen Friday morning, but never made it to school.

Adriana is described as five foot eight, one hundred and seventy pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a white Tshirt, blue jeans, and Nike tennis shoes.

Police located her safe Saturday evening.

NASCAR Crash Injures 33 Spectators

Thirty-three spectators were injured at a NASCAR race, when parts of a car went flying into the crowd, on Saturday.

During the last lap at Daytona, Florida a crash caused a twelve car wreck.

One of the cars slammed into the fence and broke apart.

Pieces from the car when through and over the fence, striking those watching.

Fourteen of those injured had to be taken to the hospital, two of whom are in critical condition.

The crash has brought into question safety features that protect the crowd.

Radioactive Waste Leaking From the Hanford Nuclear Reservation

The US Department of Energy has admitted that there is a leak at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, in Washington.

At least six, of the one hundred and seventy-seven, tanks are leaking radioactive waste, in the soil.

Estimates are that at least three hundred gallons a year, have been leaking.

While they say the waste hasn't reached ground water yet, it is only a matter of time.

Nearly a million tons of nuclear waste is kept at the facility, near the Oregon border.

Spaniards Protest Austerity Measures

Thousands of Spaniards protested all over the country, on Saturday.

They were continuing their protests of the government's austerity measures.

Spending cuts and tax hikes have driven unemployment over twenty-six percent.

Spain's recession has been going for a year and a half now and has been the cause of many business closures.

Organizers chose February 23 as it is the anniversary of an attempted coup.

Missing From Louisiana: Laci Goulas, 16

Sixteen year old Laci Goulas is missing from Lafayette, Louisiana.

She was last seen on Friday.

Laci is described as four foot eleven, one hundred and seventy pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes.

She was reported safe, on Monday night.

Moris Moves Date for Egypt's Election

President Morsi has already changed the dates of the Egyptian election.

Just days ago he decreed that the first round of the election would be held on April 27.

On Saturday, he moved them up to April 22, after complaints that the original date was too close to Easter.

The elections will take place in four rounds, with the last one happening on June 19 and 20.

Some opposition groups are threatening to boycott the elections.

Other groups point out that doing so would just guarantee that they wouldn't win.

Missing From California: Brian Barclay, 15

Fifteen year old Brian Barclay is missing from San Diego, California.

He was last seen on Tuesday.

Brian is described as black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a purple "I <3 NY" hoodie, dark skinny jeans, and black Converse sneakers.

Anyone with information should call the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000.

His family reported him safe, Friday night.

Missing From Iowa: Teresa Bruegge, 44

Forty-four year old Teresa Bruegge is missing from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

She was last seen on February 14.

Teresa is described as five foot six, three hundred pounds, with a shaved head, and blue eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a grey Tshirt, a dark blue jacket with a light blue lining, blue shorts, and a tan ball cap.

Missing From Iowa: Karina Rodriquez-Resendiz, 12: Located Safe

Twelve year old Karina Rodriquez-Resendiz is missing from Des Moines, Iowa.

She was last seen on February 8.

Concerns are high as police believe she may be with eighteen year old Sergio Lopez.

Lopez is wanted for failing to appear for a third degree sexual abuse charge.

No description, beyond the photos, was released at this time.

Anyone with information should call the Des Moines Police Detective Bureau at 515-283-4864.

They were found by police, Sunday evening.

Karina was sent home safe, while Lopez was arrested. 

Missing From Arizona: Richard Ascher, 30

Thirty year old Richard Ascher is missing from Tucson, Arizona.

He was last seen on February 12.

Concerns are high as authorities believe he may try to harm others.

Richard is described as five foot eleven, one hundred and sixty-five pounds, with dark brown hair, and brown eyes.

Missing From Washington: Guy Lewis, 85

Eighty-five year old Guy Lewis is missing from Bellevue, Washington.

He was last seen Friday morning.

Concerns are high as he has Alzheimer's.

Guy is described as five foot ten, one hundred and sixty-five pounds, with white hair, and hazel eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a light blue thin jacket, a black and white plaid button up shirt, and black pants. 

His vehicle is a gold Ford Escape, with Washington license ADX9797.

Anyone with information should call the Bellevue Police Department at 425-452-6917. 

He was found by police in Ontario, Oregon, Saturday afternoon.
