Boston Bus Crash Injures 34

A bus crash in Boston left thirty-four injured, on Saturday night.

One of the injured was hurt critically, three seriously, and thirty more suffered minor injuries.

Aboard the bus, had been a group of high schoolers, and their chaperones, from Pennsylvania, who had been in Boston to tour Harvard.

It was not released how many of the injured were students or adults.

The bus hit an overpass, with clearance of only ten feet, sheering the sides and roof off of the front part of the bus.

The four more seriously injured passengers had to be lifted out of the roof of the bus.

Police are investigating the incident, as they decide whether or not to charge the driver.

Missing California Teen Found Safe

A missing California teen has been found safe.

Seventeen year old Katrina Hamilton had missing from Laytonvlle, since the afternoon of January 12.

The Mendocino County Sheriff's Department reported that she had been located safe, on February 2.

No further information was released. 

Body of Missing Texas Woman Found

Police announced that the body of a missing Texas woman was found, on Saturday afternoon.

Forty-one year old Maria Hernandez had missing from Lyford, since the evening of January 23.

Searches by police, firefighters, border patrol agents, and the Texas rangers had come up empty.

Her remains were found by her father and brother, who were conducting their own search.

Authorities are investigating the death.

Missing Pennsylvania Teen Safe

A missing Pennsylvania teen is safe.

Fourteen your old Chelsea Ramsey-Jones had been missing from Philadelphia, since the afternoon of January 14.

Authorities announced she had been found safe, on February 2.

No further information was released.

Missing From North Carolina: Pamela Downing, 14

Fourteen year old Pamela Downing is missing from Winston Salem, North Carolina.

She was last seen on January 23.

Pamela is described as five foot six, one hundred and twenty pounds, with blonde hair partially dyed pink, and brown eyes.

She was reported safe on February 11.

Missing Colorado Teen Safe

A missing Colorado teen has been reported safe.

Fourteen year old Kaitlyn Day had missing from Fountain, since January 17.

On February 2, she was reported safe by authorities.

No further information was released.

Missing From Indiana: Tatyana Staten, 10

Ten year old Tatyana Staten is missing from Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was last seen Friday afternoon.

Concerns are high due to the low temperatures.

Tatyana is described as four foot five, sixty pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a black jacket, with pink lining, and black shoes.

She was found safe on Sunday morning, and taken to a hospital for treatment due to being out in the cold for two nights.

Missing Mother and Child From California Safe

A missing woman and her son have been reported safe.

Forty-one year old Danielle Lake and seven year old Justin Seiler had been missing from Citrus Heights, California, since Sunday.

Police reported that they are no longer reported as missing.

Lake checked in with the Reno, Nevada police, when she heard they had been listed as missing.

Reno police checked on them to be sure, and report they are fine.

Missing From Virginia: Mykelle Thomas, 16

Sixteen year old Mykelle Thomas is missing from Martinsville, Virginia.

She was last seen on January 25.

Mykelle is described as five foot four, one hundred and ninety pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a scar near her right eyebrow.

She was reported safe on February 13.

Missing From Texas: Ashley Ortega, 15

Fifteen year old Ashley Ortega is missing from Grand Prairie, Texas.

She was last seen on January 28.

Ashley is described as five foot six, one hundred and forty pounds, with brown hair dyed black, hazel eyes, and a scar on her left cheek.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported her safe on March 7.

Missing From West Virginia: Octavia Smoot, 16

Sixteen year old Octavia Smoot is missing from Madison, West Virginia.

She was last seen on January 25.

Octavia is described as five foot six, one hundred and twenty-five pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a black hoodie, with "Renee's School of Dance on it, and sweatpants.

She was found safe, on February 4.

Missing From Colorado: Troy Green, 39

Thirty-nine year old Troy Green is missing from Rocky Mountain National Park.

Green, of San Antonio, Texas, was in Colorado for a business trip.

Thursday night he was reported missing, and Friday morning his car was found in the Bear Lake parking lot of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Concerns are high as temperatures have been well below freezing, and it is unknown what kind of clothes Green had available.

No description, other than the picture, was released.

His body was found on February 5, in the Park.

Missing From Colorado: Irasemma Inda, 13

Thirteen year old Irasemma Inda is missing from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was last seen on Friday.

Irasemma is described as five foot three, one hundred and twenty pounds, with brown eyes, and dark brown hair with blonde highlights.

When last seen, she was wearing a black sweater and blue jeans.

Police located her, safe and unharmed, Saturday afternoon.

70 Year Old Coach Shoots Attempted Robbers

Two people were shot, one of them killed when they tried to pull a robbery outside of a Detroit school.

It happened Friday night, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School.

A seventy year old coach was walking two members of the girl's basketball team to their cars, when the robbers approached.

One of the robbers pulled a gun, but the coach pulled one, as well.

The coach won the battle, shooting and killing one of the robbers, and wounding the second.

No identities have been released yet, but both of the attempted robbers were students at the school.

Nebraska's Lt. Governor Resigns

Nebraska's Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy resigned on Saturday.

Governor Dave Heinemann had asked for his resignation, saying Sheehy had broken "the public trust".

An investigation had turned up information that Sheehy had used public resources to help him cheat on his wife, with multiple women, over the last four years.

His wife divorced him in July of 2012, with her stating that their marriage was "irretrievably broken".

Sheehy had been working on his own gubernatorial campaign, but that is likely over now, with scandal ending his current role.

Iran Shows Off New Jet

Iran unveiled a new fighter, on Saturday.

The Qaher 313 was shown flying and on display, on state TV.

President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad said that it is one of the most sophisticated jets in the world.

He went on to state that it, like Iran's nuclear program, is for peaceful purposes.

Officials also claimed that the new fighter has stealth capabilities, making it invisible to any form of radar.

Romanoff Officially in to Challenge For Colorado's 6th Congressional District

Andrew Romanoff has officially put his name in for the US House of Representatives spot for Colorado's 6th Congressional District.

The former state house speaker is the first challenger to put their name in for what is expected to be a highly contested spot.

Former state Representative Karen Middleton and State Senator Linda Newell are also expected to be entering their names.

Romanoff's entry may see them bump their own schedules up, and enter within the next week, instead of taking their time.

The three Democrats are looking to take seat from Republican Representative Mike Coffman, who is in his third term.

Coffman was thought to be one of the most secure Representatives, but in 2012 he only won by two percent.

Turkey Begins Arrests Over Bombing

On Saturday, the Revolutionary People's Liberation Army Front claimed responsibility for an attack upon the US embassy, in Ankara.

A man with explosives strapped to his body tried entering the embassy, on Friday, but security would not let him in.

Unable to get access, he blew himself up, outside of the building, killing one security guard, and injuring three other people.

Within hours of their admission of guilt, Turkish police began arresting leaders of the group.

By Saturday evening three people had been arrested for playing parts in planning the attack.

35 Killed in Taliban Attack

Soldiers guard the town after the attack
Taliban forces attacked the Pakistani town of Lakki Marwat, Saturday morning, leaving thirty-five dead.

Twelve militants, thirteen soldiers, and ten civilians were killed in the four hour battle.

The civilians died when Taliban forces targeted a house, with rockets.

A spokesperson for the Taliban said that the attack was in retaliation for Pakistan's cooperation with the US.

According to the spokesman, four of the militants had blown themselves up, with suicide belts.

5 People Stabbed at Denver Bar

Denver Police are investigating a mass stabbing.

Five people were stabbed at the Monte Carlo bar, early Saturday morning.

One of them is in critical condition.

Two people were arrested for the stabbings, which happened in the parking lot of the bar.

Police are trying to figure out the movie behind the attack.

Federal Fugitive Apprehended in Nebraska

A man who escaped federal custody has been recaptured.

Twenty-five year old Phoday Dumbuya escaped federal custody, Tuesday morning, at Denver International Airport.
He was being deported to Gambia and was not handcuffed, when he escaped the two ICE agents who were transporting him.

Friday evening, police in Scottsbluff County, Nebraska apprehended him.

ICE agents will pick him up there, and this time he will be in restraints as he is deported.
